Mauro Escorcia
Mauro Escorcia is an Industry Manager for Infrastructure and Technology at Finning UK and Ireland, where he works at the intersection of construction, digitalisation and sustainable infrastructure delivery.
Mauro has played a leading role in shaping how advanced construction technologies are introduced and adopted across major UK infrastructure programmes. He is the creator of Finning’s Technology Days, a platform designed to bring customers, partners and dealer teams together to showcase practical solutions across electrification, digital fleet management, automation and low‑carbon technologies.
He also leads Finning’s equipment training services, supporting customers in the effective use of onboard and offboard technologies to improve safety, productivity and sustainability on site. This work focuses on enabling real operational change rather than technology adoption in isolation.
Mauro has led several UK‑first initiatives, including semi‑autonomous machine trials and intelligent compaction pilots delivered in collaboration with HS2 and National Highways. These programmes have helped demonstrate how data‑driven construction methods can improve quality, efficiency and environmental performance at scale.
In his role, Mauro continues to lead Finning and Caterpillar’s engagement with major project owners and government bodies including the Department for Transport, HS2, National Highways and Network Rail. His work centres on understanding the outcomes these programmes must deliver and helping translate them into practical, deployable solutions with Finning, Caterpillar and the wider supply chain.
His experience reflects the role that equipment manufacturers and dealers play in supporting customers, partners and government as the future of digitally enabled, low‑carbon infrastructure takes shape.
